  1. I’m looking into using 7 grams to 1/2 cup of coconut oil. Will that be something I should do. Right now o make big batches so this is my first small batch and I want some potency

    1. @Cannabis Education Yay ๐Ÿ˜ƒ may you have a great day as well๐ŸŒฑโ˜˜๏ธ๐ŸŒฟ

    2. @Cannabis Education Thank you very much for your reply! Your method is the best I’ve seen so far ๐ŸŒŸ

    3. I use aluminum because it’s very easy to clean up and get 99% of the oil out of it, also they are very cheap, around $1 for 3. I also don’t want to ruin my glass accidentally ๐Ÿ‘

  2. Wow thanks! This seems like such an easy method. Just 3 questions I’m hoping you’ll answer please.

*Does it being in the oven not destroy the potency ?

*How do i use the coconut oil ? ( sublingually, topically .. etc)

    * After the coconut oil solidifies, should i warm it when i want to use it ?(depending on method imma use to take it )

Keep up the great work and thanks for not complicating things like most

    1. @Acaii Rose No worries ๐Ÿ™‚ everyone has questions when it comes to cannabis and some people make you feel bad for asking. We like to foster a supportive atmosphere here, so feel free to ask q’s

    2. Hey thanks for the comment ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐ŸŒฟ I’ll do my best to answer all your questions:

1- The potency of cannabis edibles and oil is affected by temperature. Different cannabinoids can be exposed to a range of temperatures, but, generally speaking, I always cook with cannabis oil at 350F or below to ensure the cannabinoids stay potent in edible form.

2- you can use coconut oil by consuming it as food, or, making topical rubs etc. Coconut oil is really versatile which is why I use it so much. I make gummies, smoothies, curry, cookies etc with the oil

3- storage is fine at room temperature or in the fridge (it will go solid in the fridge). I always end up warming the oil when I use it too

  3. I am thinking of using concentrated extract instead of bud. I need to know how much I need per batch.

    1. @Cannabis Education OK< great. That is how much is in the tube. Would I use the same mixture of the balm? I want to get it going first because I still have some gummies left and need the pain relief in the joints.

    2. Start with 1gram of extract per 3 cups of oil and see how you like it ๐Ÿ‘ depending on the extract, 1gram can have 800-900mg of THC
